Myrtle Beach SkyWheel Information

Soaring 187 feet into the air, the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel has become a local and visitor favorite since it's opening in May 2011. It is the tallest ferris wheel in the United States east of the Mississippi River. Ride in luxury within one of its 42 custom Swiss made glass-enclosed, temperature controlled gondolas. Each gondola can comfortably sit 6 people, VIP flights, up to 4 can fly. Each flight is your own private experience, and you don't have to ride with strangers. The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is located at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, next to Plyler Park. Each ride, or flight, consists of three revolutions, so it’s usually about 8-10 minutes of total flight time.

The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is wheelchair accessible.

Each night around dusk, the SkyWheel light show begins. With over 1 million LED lights, the display can be seen up and down the boardwalk. Make sure you have your camera, you don't want to miss the light show.

Military and senior discounts are available.
